Located just outside Melbourne, this client is a grower wholesaler and florist specialising in many varieties including roses, gerberas and lisianthus. Almost overnight they were faced with a drastic increase in gas prices which threatened the immediate viability of this long standing family run business. Enriva was fortunate to get the call and opportunity to work with them over several months to establish and deliver a solution. The solution, now in full operation, is a new waste to energy biomass plant, heat store, and underground transport main which delivers energy to existing distribution centres around the property. What a pleasure it has been to work for this dedicated bunch who made a decision to face the energy challenge head on. They went in deeper in order to keep the business on the forefront and maintain a muti-generational legacy of hard work well into the future.
